Unfortunately, because of Covid-19 this has been postponed until a later time, but please read and keep it in mind!
Certainly there's been some over lap and redundancy over the years between many groups and organizations nationwide. I helped launch the AFM Local 1000 way back in 1991 for instance. No matter what you think of the AFM or any of the others, The Music Industry Task Force seems to be the most well organized effort for us to get something going in this town. Please consider supporting their effort. The Film Office for instance has brought TWO different film productions to our little town of Royersford/Limerick here across the river with The Visit and Lovely Bones. The Music Industry Task Force can help make Musical things like that happen in and around Philadelphia too.
